Cee’s Photography has some more fun for us in store! Now let’s get down to bidness.
Regarding animals would you prefer not having them around or having domestics pets, farm animals, or seeing them in nature or the zoo?
I love having domesticated animals around! No issues there! I prefer to see them in nature but sadly that’s not always possible. I can appreciate zoo’s attempt at bringing exotic animals to the public but much prefer animal sanctuaries. We have a few in Texas. And I will NEVER EVER go to SeaWorld. I didn’t need to see Blackfish. The previews made me cry.
Are you a collector of anything?
I used to collect spoons when I was younger. Occasionally my dad and stepmom will still pick me up one or two on their travels. I also used to collect Homies and Mijos when I worked in a cubicle setting. The collection was on the top of my cabinet. I even have a Chevy Impala in box and a Chango and Ape Hanger still in the box. Other than that I’ve collected sun, moon and star themed decorations, candle holders, pictures, etc and unicorns since I was little. Lately it’s been race medals. They’re all over the house.
If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?
Hmmm….”When will I find true love?” Nah, how about where are all the Unicorns hiding AND can I have one for Christmas? (I’ll be REALLY good, I promise!)
If you were to treat yourself to the “finer things” what would you treat yourself to?
When I bought my house I splurged to get a fancy canopy bed like I always wanted. Beautiful dark wood and I swear 4 feet off the ground (I have to climb on) and then I started spending the money on nicer sheets. Now if I were to do it I think I’d either get a new car (a Mazda CX-5 or a Rav-4 or a Subaru something or sporty crossover) OR a fancy new living room set and a recliner (mine’s broken but I still love it). I’m pretty simple and don’t really need finer things. Almost all of my furniture other than the bedroom set, bookcases and a cheap dining room table and chairs are all hand me downs. Mixed and matched from family and friends. Very eclectic.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week – Wonderful visit with my mom! She created a new flower bed in my front yard and I got to splurge on tacky yard art (the best!) Plus we saw Jimmy Buffett on Saturday night, spent a lovely Sunday afternoon with my granny and my aunt then Skyped with my brother, sister in law and nephew Sunday night!
This week – I say this with very mixed feelings – but I’m looking forward to celebrating Walt’s life tomorrow with friends, who really are like family. I’m looking forward to seeing all of the people who I’ve had the privilege to get to know over the past few years in our little craft beer club too. Sunday is my second triathlon of the season and I’m hoping to do better than last time on this course. I’m feeling good about it for once.
Have a great week all!
